Gio Gasparini is a Brazilian actress, singer and TV presenter. Originally from São Paulo (Brazil), she became a lyric singer at age nine, singing and acting in operas and musicals such as "Carmen", "I Pagliacci" and "The Sound of Music". At seventeen she was accepted at the University of Sorbonne in Paris to study cinema and subsequently moved to France. That same year she started working for the MGM (Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer) Channel Brazil and Portugal, as a red carpet reporter, covering red carpet events around the world. She also worked as a correspondent for Vogue RG Brazil and Rolling Stone Brazil. After graduating from college, Gasparini moved back to Brazil to focus on her acting career. Her acting debut was in the short movie "Romeo Reboot" directed by comic book artist and director Rafael Grampá. She went on to act in feature films such as "Going To Brazil" directed by French actor and director Patrick Mille and "João, O Maestro", directed by Mauro Lima. Gasparini is of Italian descent and speaks four languages, them being English, French, Spanish, and her native language Portuguese.
