Sultan Albarq

Sultan Albarq was born in Paris, France. He was raised in Miami, FL since the age of 7. His parents are from Tunisia and Jordan and is fluent in French, English and Arabic. Sultan holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from Florida International University and a Certificate in International Bank Management Management. He started his career as an investment analyst at Baniyas Investment and Development Company in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. covering mergers and acquisitions in both the real estate, aerospace and defense sectors around the world. Sultan was formerly a member of U.S. Navy Intelligence, where he honorably served during the Operation Enduring Freedom Campaign in both Europe and the Middle East. Prior to founding Opus Real Estate Capital, Sultan was the Assistant Vice-President at Walker & Dunlop; where he led the origination, underwriting and placement in excess of $ 2 billion, for both debt and equity nationwide. Sultan Albarq is the Founder and Managing Principal of Opus Real Estate Capital and focuses on origination, underwriting, and placement of real estate debt and equity investments. Sultan began his acting career in 2015, as the role of IS Zoltan in Dead to Life Movie, briefly after his medical discharge from the U.S. Navy. During the filming he was going through intensive chemotherapy, thus the reason why he no hair or eye brows. His commitment, resilience and passion have never allowed anything or anyone stop him from achieving his goals. He hopes to continue to work with disabled veterans like himself including acting.
