Graduate of Scriptwriting at the CCC (Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica) and from the Cinematographic and Audiovisual Arts BA program at the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes (UAA), where he graduated as director and scriptwriter with his short film "Hay una luz que siempre se apaga" (2018), selected by multiple international festivals. Villalobos second short film "Somos Visitas" premiered in 2020. His first feature film "Ni en la más oscura de mis tardes" was shot in Aguascalientes, México.
