Kenia Lechuga

Kenya Vanessa Lettuce Alanis (Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, June 26, 1994) is a Mexican athlete specialized in rowing. Form part of the Mexican delegation at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016. She studied at the School of Sports Organization of the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon. She competed in the National Olympics of Mexico in 2008 (bronze medal), 2009 (silver medal), 2010 (silver and bronze), 2011 (gold and silver), 2012 (gold), 2014 (gold and bronze) and 2015 ( gold and silver). In the World Rowing Championship of 2012 she won place 5. In the Olympic Qualification of Latin America, held in Chile 2016, she took third place, winning qualification for Rio de Janeiro 2016. In the Brazilian Olympics, Lechuga qualified to the quarterfinals in individual rowing at the Olympic Games of Rio de Janeiro 2016 with time of 8:11.44. She participates in the TV Azteca reality show "Exatlón México" being part of the "Famosos" red team.
