Laura Tashina

Laura Tashina is an actress and international musician. Tashina started to take drama classes in school at the age of 16. After she finished school in 2010 she traveled Asia for half a year, until she decided to move to Munich and study Psychology at the Open University in Hagen. Besides her studies she worked as a Model in London, Istanbul and Berlin and shot a few commercials and short films. In 2014 Tashina embarked on her acting career and started training at the German Academy of Acting (Deutsche Akademie für Schauspiel - DAS Zerboni) in Munich. During the second year of education she got offered her first lead in an Episode of the German TV show "Um Himmels Willen". After she finished drama school she played Leonora in a movie installation of "La forza del destino", directed by Tobias Kratzer at the municipal theatre company of Frankfurt (Städtische Bühnen Frankfurt a.M.). Other parts followed. In 2018 she moved to Berlin and met music producer Alexander Hoetzinger. The year after they found their own record label "sick chick", under which Tashina published her first rock/pop song "Dibs on Your Lips" in cooperation with Motor Music. Her second song "Baby by design" was followed by a live cover version of "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover" (Paul Simon) in 2020. In the same year Tashina took a returning lead in the German TV show Dahoam is Dahoam, where she played "Jenny Falke", a young women who struggles with her feelings for her best friend "Sarah Brandl" played by the German actress Sophie Reiml.
