James F Moran

Moran's early years included lead acting roles in classic stage plays by writers like Charles Dickens and Thornton Wilder, as well as awards and honors in music, acting, and sports during his school and university years. Moran was active in his universities' fraternal and athletic organizations as both a leader and a participant. Upon graduating with both undergraduate and graduate studies in music, drama, and television, Moran served briefly in leadership and educational positions in drama, music, and the broadcast industry, including a brief stint reporting world news from a network in Charlotte, NC. Other highlights in Moran's early career involved singing in the opera 'Andre Chenier' alongside Julian Patrick (who sang for the Metropolitan opera), as well as singing an original song he composed specifically for Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist. Moran also composed music for several relatively obscure indie movies. Moran began his career with opera studies and has a degree in voice performance. Moran was an 'A' student in graduate school and received his Master of Science in Broadcast Production where his focus was in television. During this time, he was awarded a graduate assistant scholarship at the university's audio department as the assistant sound engineer for the school's operas, Shakespearean plays, and other events. Moran completed and launched his first motion picture in 1996 with a volunteer cast and crew of forty-five actors and fifteen production assistants using borrowed equipment and resources, including some experienced talent with several films to their name. Moran is a business veteran having led international teams for multi-million dollar global commercial initiatives at one of the largest corporations in the world where he served for over a decade. Moran also has additional studies in broadcast and business law, operations, finance, and marketing. Rounding out the producer side of his credentials, Moran's experience includes creating risk management infrastructure, managing budgets, communications, deployment schedules, resources, reporting, and global cross-border compliance with various countries.
