Gilberto Saenz is an actor, director, playwright, and advocate for inclusion. His work has been featured in the Soho International Film Festival, Newfilmakers NYC, PIOTR Paris, and Glitter! Oklahoma. On stage, his work has been seen at the Utah Shakespeare Festival, Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, ID Studio Theater, and other regional stages across the country. His activism centers on the advancement and social development of Latinx communities through the Arts. Gilberto is a proud Lin-Manuel Miranda Family Fellowship recipient and is mentored closely by Karen Olivo. Gilberto holds a B.A. in Theater Studies from Yale University and was awarded the Paul H and Brigitte P. Fry Award for his outstanding contribution to the arts. He is a former member of Improv group The Viola Question and sketch comedy group Red Hot Poker.
