Tomer Barash is an Israeli/Portuguese actor, best known for portraying "Sgt. Bill Evans" in the TV drama "The Beauty Queen of Jerusalem." Based today in Tel Aviv Israel, Tomer spent the majority of his life overseas, growing up in Budapest Hungary, Sydney Australia and Atlanta GA, USA. Joining a Youth Theater for the first time at age 13 in Sydney, Australia, Tomer immediately fell in love with the stage. He would later graduate the Sydney Masada College majoring in Drama, after which he moved to Israel to recruit to the IDF, (Israeli Military) where he served in an elite combat unit for 4 years. Upon release from the Army, Tomer picked up on his acting path once again after being accepted to the 3 Year Professional Acting Course at the prestigious Tel Aviv based "Yoram Loewenstein Performing Arts Studio." After excelling in his studies, productions and public showcases at drama school, Tomer's talent was soon picked up on and adjacent to his drama school graduation, he was accepted into the Acting Ensemble of "Habima National Theater of Israel." Today he stars as "Eddie" in the world renowned musical "MAMMA MIA!" at the National Theater, as well as other running productions in the theater. Some of his appearances on screen also include guest roles in HBO's "Our Boys" directed by Joseph Cedar, TV drama "Iron Dome" and more.
