Judith Moy

Judith Moy is a film composer based in New York City known for combining modern electronic sounds with classical instrumentation and orchestration. She has scored animations for TappingBones in association with Dream Factory Animation. Other projects include a score for a film produced by Fountain Avenue Productions and two short films produced during the New York Women's Weekend Film Challenge. Her work has been performed by the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra, the NYU Composer's Ensemble, Milwaukee's Present Music, and at the Joffrey Ballet School. She is a graduate of the Kettle Moraine School for Arts and Performance (KM Perform) in Wales, Wisconsin, and New York University. She is classically trained and studied violin performance for thirteen years. Prior to focusing on composing for the screen, Judith spent a lot of time in the theater, working mostly in sound design and occasionally acting in plays. Her designs have been performed in both Wisconsin and New York.
