Joseph Gormley is a middle school janitor who, according to the Marlins broadcast, recently took up painting when his wife bought him a paint set as a Christmas gift. Since then, Gormley has made it his goal to donate $1 million dollars to charity through his art. Gormley has raised and surpassed his goal of million, he took off after that painting of Stanton. The Marlins have made Gormley the official painter for the Marlins Foundation, and for the past four years he's been able to raise a lot of money and help a lot of people in the South Florida Community by painting on a canvas.
