Johnnie Joe Garcia Jr.

Johnnie Joe Garcia, Jr. was born and raised in Austin, Texas. He is the oldest of three children and was raised by his inspiring grandparents (Joe & Guadalupe Garcia) from his father's side. He performed in his first school staged play at Allison Elementary, he began to have a dream to one day become an actor. Due to family obstacles, that dream was postponed for many years. In 1995, Johnnie was part of the Spanish Honor Society and graduated from Crockett High School. Between the years 2000-2005, he served the United States Air Force Honorably being awarded 2 Air Force Achievement Medals, during Operation Enduring Freedom in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, and Operation Iraqi Freedom in Baghdad, Iraq during the Iraqi War. Before his grandparents passing, he remembered them saying this to him, "Life comes with struggles, let your struggles be your strength to move forward." Ever since his grandparents passing, he has been a better father to his daughter Gabriela and has become more inspired to not give up on his dream to become a working actor. In 2014, Johnnie graduated from Austin Community College (ACC) with an Associates of Arts Degree in Spanish. He completed Acting 1 course at Austin Community College (Spring 2022). He is planning to take more acting, and theatrical classes at ACC in the near future; in addition, he wants to major in Film and Media Studies hopefully at Arizona State University. He is Honored to play the part of Carlos in the Crime/Action/Drama independent film called, "His Stretch of Texas Ground" written and directed by Ralph Cinque. Johnnie is also thankful for his supporting role as Sheriff Romero in an indie-horror comedy film written and directed by another amazing film visionary and talent, Remy St. Paul. Johnnie isn't a quitter but a winner. Johnnie is excited to be represented by his new talent agent Claudia Ramon from Condra Artista Talent Agency based in San Antonio, Texas. He has his mindset and focus to do his best for himself and his agent to become that successful working actor that he always dreamed of becoming.
