Courtney Simpson

Courtney Simpson is a dedicated professional with several years of experience in film and television production, project management, and performing as an actor, singer and musician. She is a reputable fast and creative learner who works exceptionally well with crew and supervisors. Simpson started her career in film and television by working for a development and distribution company in children's entertainment. While there, she gained experience in animation/live-action development, production, post, distribution, marketing, and sales by working on projects such as Netflix's Llama Llama(2018). Additionally, she has had joyous times being a production assistant for several film and television sets, and a 2nd 2nd AD for award-winning short film, Lockdown(2020). Being knowledgeable in both office and on set production needs for a film or television series allows her to be a versatile talent and crew member. Simpson's talent range is not limited to the various short films, music videos, plays, fashion shows, and concerts she has been in as an actress, singer-songwriter, musician, dancer, and model. Simpson's performance style is unique in how she connects with the audience and makes you feel included in her storytelling. Outside of entertainment, she is passionate about being involved in social justice movements and provides financial education to individuals in need who cannot easily access financial resources. She believes that financial education is a core form of social justice.
