Lovely Ann Warren is the first female and African American female Mayor of the City of Rochester, New York. Warren was sworn in for her first term on January 2, 2014, making her the 67th Mayor of Rochester, New York. Warren continued to win a second term as Mayor of Rochester in 2017. Before her terms as Mayor, Lovely Warren served as the youngest president in the history of the Rochester City Council. In addition, she is a proud graduate of Rochester's Wilson Magnet High School. Warren earned her Juris Doctorate from the Albany Law School of Union University and served as President of the Rochester Black Bar Association.
