Portia Murphy

Portia began dancing at the age of four, singing at 9, and acting at 10. The first Broadway show she ever saw was for her 10th birthday, Annie, who shares a birthday with Portia (10/28). After seeing the show, Portia knew she wanted to act full time. She began homeschooling two weeks later and has been acting ever since. She booked a national Microsoft commercial in 2017, and has landed several musical theatre roles, such as Baby June in Gypsy (twice), Mary Beth in A Christmas Story (twice), Debbie in Billy Elliot, Pepper in Annie, and Schprintze in Fiddler on the Roof. Portia is a member of AEA. Her true love is for California where she will live one day.
