Jake Donald-Crookes

Jake Donald-Crookes is a model and actor and has been modelling since 2005. Jake also plays the drums to a grade 8 standard. Along with numerous advertising campaigns, Jake's first introduction to the silver screen was in Kenneth Branagh's Disney film Artemis Fowl II, where he performed the role of Artemis Fowl acting double. Most recently, (release 2021) Jake played protagonist (teenage role) Mario Capecchi, in Resilient, directed by Roberto Faenza. An Italian-born molecular geneticist and a co-winner of the 2007 Nobel Prize in Medicine, Mario lived on the streets during WWII from the age of 4 1/2 after his mother was arrested by fascists and then later imprisoned in a German concentration camp. When Mario's mother miraculously finds him in 1947 they travel to America to live with her brother and start a new life, taking Mario from 'rags to research' (quote, Mario Capecchi).
