Mathew Herman

Mathew began acting after getting out of the Navy. His first play was BENT, by Martin Sherman. He acted throughout college (University of Wisconsin @ La Crosse) and then moved to California. After spending two years hitting the pavement in Los Angeles, Mathew moved to NCY and was accepted as a student at The Studio of The Actors' Space. He finished the two year conservatory and headed directly to Milwaukee, WI as an intern at The Milwaukee Repertory Theatre. Mathew them moved back to Los Angeles and has been working as an actor, an elementary school teacher, a kitchen designer, etc. Mathew is one of five children, the second to the youngest. He resides in Silverlake with his partner/husband of almost 20 years, Rob Dean.
