Barcelona, 1995. Sergi studied cinema at ESCAC, he officially began his career as a director and screenwriter with 'Tribe' ('Tribu' in Spanish, its original language), a dark comedy short film starring five empowered women. The film has been selected for more than 60 international Cinema festivals worldwide and, between others, was awarded with the Special Jury Mention Prize at the Festival de Cine de Zaragoza in 2018 (being then pre-selected for the Goya Awards) and was screened at the famous Pinewood Studios of the United Kingdom. He specialized himself in the field of the "Making Of" -due to his knowledge with the camera and editing-, that is why he worked in tens of Spanish and English movies, commercials and videoclips. 'Bristol' represents his first documentary project as a director, but it also has fictional recreations played by young actors and actresses, scenes completely in animation and archive footage. This short film is his most personal project to date.
