Keierica Lanecia Howard was born in Houma, Louisiana to a Nurse's Aid/HHA mother, and an Off-Shoreman father. The latter, was absent for a large majority of her life. Keierica's early paternal guidance and balance she attributes to her step-father, a former truck driver. Keierica talents were identified as early as the age of 3, when she sang the song "Candy Rain" for her mother on their front porch. At 9 years old, Keierica sang in front of her family's church congregation the song "If anybody asks you who I am", and their reception aided in motivating Keierica to pursue a career in entertainment. In 2010, Keierica graduated from Terrebonne High School and received a scholarship to play Collegiate Volleyball at Clark-Atlanta University, even after only taking up the sport two years prior. As a Mass Communications major, she continued to work at her passion of entertainment by performing in small organized events around campus and in the Atlanta area. After graduating from Clark-Atlanta University, Keierica continued to pursue her lifelong desire, and performed on stages of many well known venues, such as "SXSW" (South by Southwest), Atlanta's renowned "Apache Cafè", the "GrammyU Showcase" event at Morehouse College, the trendy Edgewood Avenue spot - "The Music Room", and others, exhibiting her prowess as a vocalist, and an entertainer. Even being called upon to honor former Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed through song as he received an award. By way of her outgoing personality and active visibility in various entertainment circles, Keierica's television debut was in March 2017 when she was cast on the Fox Television show "The Q". She also starred in a number of novel-to-stage play adaptations, such as "I Cheated, So What", "Daddy's Home but my Husband Ain't", and "In-Laws From Hell", as well as making a guest appearance on the popular web series "7th & Love". {2018} Keierica is currently focusing on promoting her newest musical projects, as well as carving her niche as an actress in a very competitive market. "I feel most at home when I'm entertaining. On stage, behind a microphone, or in front of an audience - THIS is my sweet spot." says 'Kei', as she is affectionately called by her close friends and family.
