Over the course of 11 years, Layne has acted in two stage productions each year and performed his first starring role as Clark Brent in "It's a Bird! It's a Plane! It's... Nerdman" by Craig Sodaro in the spring of 2018. The year of 2018 was a year of first for Layne, as he also performed the part of dream boy in the movie, "Gleahan and the Knaves of Industry", directed by Samuel T. Weston. Layne's comedic timing, natural talent, and keen eye for artistic details has not only enhanced his acting career; it has helped him grow as a video editor and graphic designer. When Layne is not on the stage he is playing video games and editing film for his media class. After high school, Layne plans to go to college for stage and film performance. In August of 2022, Layne attended The American Academy of Dramatics two week film and television program in LA. This experience solidified his passion for acting. On September 16, 2022 Layne received his official acceptance letter to attend The AADA in LA as part of the class starting in the fall of 2023. He is excited to start a new chapter in his life after graduation in the spring of 2023.
