Anna Danes

Anna Danes is a top Billboard-Charted jazz recording artist. A sultry and glamorous modern songstress of jazz with "the sensitivity and interpretive abilities closely akin to Sinatra's", Anna's story is that of the American Dream. Born in Poland behind the Iron Curtain and dreaming of a better life listening to Sinatra and watching American-made movies, she escaped with her family to Sweden, ultimately settling in Canada. After successfully transitioning through her 2nd immigration and becoming a practicing attorney, she followed her heart to California to start a family. Years later, while going through a painful divorce, she discovered, with the help of her daughter, that she could SING! The rest, as they say, is history, as well as an inspirational story that's been shared around the world. Since discovering her voice, Anna has released two full studio albums, including original work, and is working on her third. Her second album, "Find Your Wings", which was recorded at Hollywood's iconic Capitol Studios with some of jazz music's greats, debuted at #1 on iTunes and then went on to climb to the top of the Billboard Charts. She has entertained countless corporate clients, such as Neiman Marcus and The San Diego Symphony over the years; she performs the National Anthem in front of tens of thousands at various sporting events; she is regularly featured on television and is currently the subject of two documentaries. Anna is also the producer of the popular San Diego jazz series, Jazz on Cedros. She has presented a TEDx Talk about the transformational power of music and often speaks professionally in front of corporate audiences.
