Jared is a writer, director, producer, and award-winning journalist. In 2018 he released his first short film, "The Surge", which he co-wrote and co-directed. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2013, Jared has worked in the journalism, digital media, and entertainment space. He has twice won awards from the Los Angeles Press Club. In 2014 he won Third Place in the "News Feature over 1,000 words" category. And the next year he won Second Place in the "Print Journalist of the Year" category.
