🥚🐰EASTER CHOICE🐰🥚

Easter is coming around real soon! If you haven’t already made your Easter crafts, here are some recommendations. Catch one of these bunny-themed movies, perfect for Easter, and enjoy it.

1. The Secret Life of Pets

It is an animated comedy released in 2016, produced by Illumination Entertainment, distributed by Universal Pictures, and directed by Chris Renard and Yarrow Cheney.

Rating: 7.5
Recommended index: ☆☆☆☆☆
Keywords: humans, pets, love

The film follows the adventures of dog Max and his pet friends in an apartment in New York.

Max thought he was the favorite of his owner Katie, but when she brought home a mongrel named Duke, his life fell apart.

Escaping from the pound, Duke was happy to have a real home and intends to coexist peacefully with Max, but all Max wanted was to hold on to his territory and drive Duke out.

When the rivals somehow end up in the streets of New York, they must put aside their quarrels and join force against Snowball, a cunning white rabbit, in order to get back to their owners before dinner.

Now, the thrilling battle just begins...

My comments:

This is one of my favorite cartoon comedies! Please do check it out if you haven't watched it. You won't be disappointed!

Although the bunny Snowball is not a lead role, it is the most impressive character in the movie. Just see how it aroused our great interest—

In the scene it first came out, it carved a carrot into a key with its teeth and helped the caught friends escape from the control car. It's like a magic that completly lit my eyes up!

What's most appealing about Snowball is the contrast between its cute appearance and evil ambition. Abandoned by his owner, Snowball planned to wreak revenge against the indifferent and bacame the boss of the villains. But when the little girl promised to love it for the rest of her life, he was deeply touched and immediately changed his mind. The change in the little eyes upon her words was so cute that it melt my heart!

All in all, this is a very healing comedy cartoon. You deserve it!

2. Zootopia

It is a comedy-adventure film released in 2016 and produced by Disney Animation Studios.

Rating: 9.2
Recommended index: ☆☆☆☆☆
Keywords: good and evil are rewarded

The story is set in a world of mammals comprised of two groups: prey and predators.

After thousands of years of fighting, the two sides finally reached a peace agreement, and Zootopia has since become a utopian metropolis.

Rabbit Judy has dreamed of becoming a criminal policeman to practice justice since she was a child. With her wits and hard work, she successfully graduated from the police academy and entered the police station of Crazy Zootopia.

There have been cases of missing animals recently, and Judy has been assigned the task of finding the missing Mr. Otter. If she cannot find Mr. Otter within 48 hours, Judy will have to leave the police station.

To finishe the task on time, Judy turned to Nick the Fox and the two teamed up, only to reveal a shocking secret hidden in Zootopia.

My comment:

It is a highly rated, hilarious, and touching animation. The protagonist Judy is such an upright little bunny, who overcame all kinds of difficulties and finally realized her dream.

Another impressive character is Mr. Sloths! The slow words and actions are in stark contrast to Judy's quickness and sharp mind. I believe that part will make you laugh, too.

As soon as this movie came out, Judy became popular. Many fans started cosplaying with their pets.

Of course, there is also a live-action version.

3. HOP

HOP, is a 2011 film produced by Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment (the production team of Minions).

Rating: 6.6
Recommended index: ☆☆☆
Keywords: Easter, dreams and reality

This film combined animation and live-action to interpret the story of the two protagonists (a person and a bunny) ,following their dreams, as their fathers had expected.

The film takes unfolds a story that takes place at Easter Island candy factory in South America.

The heir to the candy factory, Easter Bunny E.B., ran away from home on the night he was supposed to take over the family business and went to Hollywood to pursue his dream. On the way, he ran into Fred who was unemployed and kicked out of his house. Going through ups and downs together, the two big boys confided in each other about their father's expectations and their inner resistance against them. So they hit it off and became friends.

My comment:

A joyful animation best for festive days.

This film is suitable for younger audiences and film has a relatively stable flat plot, but the characters are cute. There are cute rabbits and subordinate chickens who are always off-the-mark. It is a heartwarming movie with a happy ending, and it's quite a supsirse when I saw Penny in "The Big Bang Theory" appearing on the screen!

4. The Christmas Bunny

Directed by American director Tom Seidman, this is a family-friendly movie released in 2010.

Rating: 7.1
Recommended index: ☆☆☆☆
Keywords: Christmas, love, truth

It is a sad but touching story...

The protagonist is lonely and traumatized little girl. Because of her mother's disregard, she can only be raised by other families. The little girl was introverted and unwilling to communicate with others due to the abandonment, sitting before the TV and watching The Velveteen Rabbit over and over again all day long.

On Christmas Day, her adoptive parents rescued a wounded rabbit in the forest. Out of curiosity and kindness, the little girl miraculously spoke the first sentence.

In saving the rabbit, the little girl met an old lady who lived alone in the abandoned warehouse and raised rabbits.

A little girl who lacked maternal love and an old lady who had been cut off from her daughter for many years soon became good friends, because they were both lonely and chose to use rabbits to comfort their wounded hearts.

Everthing seems to be getting better...

However, one day, the rabbit caused some unpleasant things, leading to a big fight between the adoptive father - whose career was in a slump - and the mother. The girl ran away from home with the rabbit and lost her way in the deep forest. In the blizzard, the adoptive father ran into the deep forest to look for the girl regardless of the danger. The little girl was finally moved by her new family and broke free from her inner haze.

In the end, there is a sentence on the pillow, "You can't be a real rabbit until someone loves you."

It is a line which the girl came across many times. This sentence, on the one hand, indicates that the little girl finally got a real little rabbit. On the other hand, it suggests that she finally felt love and had a family who truly loved her.

My comment:

It is a touching movie. We feel sympathy for what happened to the little girl while puzzled by her bizarre behavior. It can be said that the rabbit is her support and the key to opening her heart.

In addition, the movie can serves as a breeding guide for a novice pet rabbit keeper, as it warns about the possible consequences of irresponsible and random purchases of pet rabbits.

5. The Velveteen Rabbit

One more movie comebines live action and animation. The Velveteen Rabbit is a film for children, directed by Michael Landon Jr. and adapted from the children's novel The Velveteen Rabbit. It was released in the United States in 2009.

Rating: 7.5
Recommended index: ☆☆☆☆
Keywords: magic, imagination, love

Also a touching family story.

The film follows the ever-growing close relationship between a young boy, Toby, his father and grandmother. After his mother passed away , his father was too busy to take care of him, so he was sent to his grandmother for a temporary stay.

His grandmother is a stern old lady, busy with her social life. Lonely Toby happened to find a magic attic in the old house, which stored many old toys.

Luckily, he found a flannel toy rabbit that his mother had left for him. He loved the little rabbit with all his heart pouring all his yearning for his mother into this little rabbit and taking it wherever he went.

Toby played with little rabbits, swans, and wooden horses in his magic world all day long, until he was infected with the scarlet fever virus. The doctor suggested burning all his toys, including the little rabbit.

But love makes the world real. The little rabbit turned into a real rabbit because of his love, which made the well-known fairy tale come true.

My comment:

It is heartwarming. The sufferings of the little boy who lacks the company of his family is distressing.

Only in the magical world of the attic can Toby feel warm, where there are partners, playground, and companionship, where he can be a happy, carefree child.

The grandmother later turned out cute. She dropped the driver and went on an adventurous drive with her grandson. The permanent leave of the boy's mother deeply hurt both grandmother and father, and they dared not love others anymore. It was the boy who slowly woke up their hearts and reminded them of how to love and understand.

A children's movie as it is, it made me burst out tears... I feel sorry for this family...

Finally, at the end of the article, a kind reminder is that the ratings and recommendations of the above five movies are just for reference.Whether they are good or bad is totally up to you! Hope you enjoy them!
