The Poseidon Adventure

Embarking on her final voyage to the scrapyards, a once-proud passenger ship finds herself tested to the utmost by her new owners, driven to the edge to cut costs on the impending dismantling. Struck by a formidable tidal wave, she's violently upended, rendering all internal spaces topsy-turvy. In this dire circumstance, a priest leads a diverse group of survivors on a perilous journey through the inner depths of the ship, their collective aim to navigate the chaos and endure against the odds.

After "The Poseidon Adventure" (1972), in which the ship got flipped over by a tidal wave, the ship drifts bottom-up in the sea. While there are passengers still on-board waiting to be rescued, two rivaling salvage parties enter the ship in search of money, gold, and a small amount of plutonium.
