Battlestar Galactica (Original)

After 1,000 years of war, the humans from the Twelve Colonies are near to celebrate an armistice with the evil Cylon Empire. Out of the blue, the Cylons betray the pact and destroy the Colonies and their entire fleet, except the Battlestar Galactica. Commander Adama summons the few survivors from all the Colonies to follow him on a journey to find the mythical planet Earth. However, they are short of water, supplies and fuel and they head to the planet Carillon to replenish the fleet and get the supplies. Adama's son, the warrior Captain Apollo, and his partners Lieutenants Starbuck and Boomer destroy the mines left by the Cylons and they reach the planet. They are welcomed by the inhabitants and find the paradise. Meanwhile, the self-serving human leader Sire Uri wants to destroy their arms and live in the Cylon Empire despite the contempt of Adama. Sire Uri decides to give medals to Apollo, Starbuck and Boomer for their bravery on Carillon and invites the warriors to come to the party. However, Adama believes that it is a trap for the Galactica. What can he do?

The Battlestar Galactica encounters the Battlestar Pegasus, which they thought to be destroyed. The Pegasus is commanded by one of their most celebrated warriors, Commander Cain. Cain is a strategic genius, but is bent on destroying the Cylons while Adama is happy to acquire fuel and escape, thus keeping his fleet alive to find Earth. When Cain sabotages a mission to obtain fuel, the Galactica and Pegasus are forced to attack a Cylon Base World and three Baseships. While the Galactica stays on to attack the planet, the Pegasus leaves to engage the Baseships (against orders). After the battle, the Pegasus just keeps on going into deep space and is never heard from again. The Galactica gets the fuel they need and the fleet continues its journey, looking for Earth.

The Battlestar Galactica and its ragtag fleet of ships finally locate the planet Earth, only to discover that the Cylons have followed them there. Captain Troy and Lieutenant Dillon are dispatched to speak with nuclear physicist Donald Mortinson and obtain his help by gathering scientists to defend Earth against the Cylon invasion. Arrested as anti-nuclear demonstrators, Troy and Dillon befriend feisty television reporter Jamie Hamilton who helps them understand Earth culture. Troy are Dillon are then dispatched to find a crashed Cylon Raider, only to find that the Cylons have stumbled into a Halloween party.
