Harry Potter

Directed by Chris Columbus and based on the best seller by J.K Rowling, this iconic film presents the life of the famous Harry Potter. As an orphan boy living with his aunt and uncle, when he turns 11, he discovers that his parents were killed by a terrible wizard named Voldemort. Soon after learning this, Harry is invited to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where a new universe opens up to him.

Hogwarts is on a state of alert when someone silently reopens the Chamber of Secrets and in confusing episodes the students are exposed to danger. Meanwhile, Harry discovers disturbing secrets about himself and Voldemort; but can he, alongside his inseparable friends Ron and Hermione, face up to a new threat roaming the corridors of Hogwarts? This second film of the saga is more dramatic and acquires a darker tone, without losing sight of the humour and its magical sense of adventure.

A very different year begins at Hogwarts as the school is chosen to host the Triwizard Tournament, an intense and dangerous competition requiring both skill and cleverness, between three schools of magic. As this event is taking place, Voldemort and his followers, the Death Eaters, are closer than everyone thinks and are preparing for an ambush. In this fourth installment of the saga, new characters are incorporated, the first love misunderstandings emerge and important challenges are presented to Harry Potter.

Dumbledore gives Harry the task of approaching a professor he has rehired, to discover Voldemort's deepest secret. While working on this assignment, Harry studies with a potions book that was used by a mysterious wizard. In the sixth chapter of the saga, the magic of this universe, which was predominantly enchanting, takes a definite dark turn.

Fear has taken over Hogwarts due to the escape of a dangerous wizard, Sirius Black, from Azkaban prison and unexpected revelations soon emerge. Harry and his friends realize firsthand that the school routine is affected and this time, they can use to their advantage a factor that, however, can be very difficult to control. A saga that takes a leap of maturity, that capitalizes on its narrative, visual and sound resources, with a sharper humor and one of the best soundtracks of the whole saga.

Most people do not believe that Voldemort has returned, including the Ministry of Magic. When a cruel ministry official becomes principal of Hogwarts, the young wizards will be driven to form a resistance. In the midst of all this, Harry has to deal with the threat of Voldemort invading his mind. A very dark chapter in the saga, but also exciting with all the new magic and friends around our favorite trio.

Harry, Ron and Hermione will not return to Hogwarts as they need to continue the mission given by Dumbledore. Venturing out into the world and camping in faraway places, they use everything they can to investigate the whereabouts of the Horcruxes. Preparing the audience for the grand finale, this exciting chapter is charged with hope and the message that the greatest power in the world is friendship.

Despite their hopeless situation, Harry, Ron and Hermione persist in their quest to defeat Voldemort once and for all. As they begin to find the last Horcruxes - the magical items that can end the Dark Lord's reign - a massive battle will unfold. This final chapter definitely offers an epic and emotional conclusion to the beloved franchise.
