Roman Polanski's Apartment Trilogy is a psychological exploration of female vulnerability and social oppression. Through the claustrophobic confines of domestic spaces, Polanski examines the disintegration of his female protagonists as they grapple with patriarchal control. Isolated and increasingly paranoid, these women become prisoners in their own homes, their sanity undermined by the encroaching male gaze and the sinister forces that lurk within their seemingly safe havens. The films in the collection are: Repulsion (1965), Rosemary's Baby (1968), The Tenant (1976)
