Nightlands: long weird neon nights in the city or in the middle of nowhere

Yeah, I'm talking to you, John Krasinski! Horror has been producing intelligent, thought-provoking, emotionally profound and socially relevant films since film-making began. And we didn't used to need to have the "message" explained to us in bald exposition, which is the trend the genre has been getting into lately. So get off my fucking lawn, and go watch all of these movies immediately!

This is an ongoing list for all fiction films on Letterboxd longer than 40 minutes (Following AFI & BFI Definitions). I will try and make sure there are no Documentaries, Stand Up Comedy, Music Gigs, Special Features, Filmed Plays etc. I will also remove TV series except for Pilots and Special full length episodes. I will keep early cinema serials. The aim is to log as many films as possible, without restrictions of how many people have viewed them, their rating, or number of likes. I'm adding them by year, so please be patient, and new releases may take a while…
