The family of Lida and Pavel seems ideal on the surface, but behind the beautiful façade hides an unsightly underside - Pavel beats and cheats on his wife. Lida knows nothing about betrayal, and Pavel's cruelty is ready to forgive endlessly: for her, family is the meaning of life. Pavel needs family and children only to maintain his image. The marriage breaks down when Pavel raises his hand against his son. The process of divorce and a desperate struggle for children begins.
