Crewing Up (2022)

Crewing Up is a semi-fictional dramedy that follows the Locations Department team as they shoot sequels to the most iconic movies and TV shows of all time - that were never meant to be. Our hero, Levi, gets a call from an old work friend, who offers him the Locations Manager position on the set of Tropic Thunder II. Unbeknownst to the caller, Levi has just returned from Laos, where he has been living in reclusivity - still haunted by the traumatic events on the set of Tropic Thunder, 10 years prior. Levi accepts the job, symbolically putting his past behind him by eviscerating his cow-pal Mookie, and begins the onerous task of gathering his crew.
