Old Rookie (2022)

Ryotaro Shinmachi is a 37-year-old former Japanese national football player who has recently retired and becomes a new member of the society. Although Ryotaro has embarked on his second career, he struggles to tell his daughters that he has retired and still cannot accept his retirement. Due to his love and respect for sports, Ryotaro is now working as an agent at sports management company "Victory" where he manages active athletes and learns about their stories. While listening to their stories, Ryotaro slowly reflects on his life and has to decide whether to choose football or a new life.
