Jurnal Risa (2023)

The series "Journal Risa" tells the story of Risa's childhood and her cousin. Risa is a 13-year-old girl with extraordinary abilities. She can communicate with supernatural beings. This situation makes it difficult for Risa to socialize with peers. When the holiday season arrives, she is taken to her grandfather's house in Bandung along with her same-aged cousins. Risa's cousins are Angga, Nicko, Kakang, and Indy. Initially, they feel awkward playing with Risa, but gradually their bond as cousins grows stronger. One day, while chasing kites, they enter an uninhabited empty house. Curiosity arises, leading Angga, Nicko, and Kakang to explore the dusty rooms. They discover a traditional Sundanese weapon called a kujang stored in a locker. Angga initially advises against taking the ancient item, but Nicko secretly brings it home. Unintentionally, this action triggers a catastrophe. The kujang Nicko brought home turns out to possess mystical powers and is inhabited by an evil spirit, haunting their grandfather's house. Risa becomes one of the targets of this terror, repeatedly attacked by the malevolent spirit. She asks Angga, Nicko, and Kakang to return the kujang to its original place. After it is taken back to the old house, the kujang mysteriously reappears at Risa's grandfather's house. The five cousins eventually receive clues that they need to return the unique weapon to a place called Babakan Siliwangi. They are aided by Dewi, Agus, and Kulon, Risa's new friends in Bandung. Their endeavor to return the kujang becomes an adventure filled with mystery and the terror of the evil spirit. Risa and her cousins must unite to fight the spirit and return the kujang to its rightful place.
