The formerly unknown town of Skobeloff, PA, became infamous after a murder trial found a local artist, Celestino Acosta, guilty of methodically killing town residents with no known motive. In 2007, two decades after his sudden disappearance, Celestino's daughters, Shelly and Kloe, develop a strange connection to a realm that no one else can see. The Skobeloff Forest is a bizarre, dreamlike plane full of eclectic, dangerous, and wacky creatures. With the help of her cat-thing, Binx, can Shelly mend her broken relationship with her sister and solve the mysteries of her family's complicated past?
