Anat always hoped to assimilate into the Israeli society she was born to but is still perceived as an immigrant. When a confrontation she has with a social security clerk becomes viral, she unknowingly becomes the voice of the Soviet immigrants and realizes there is no way to escape her roots. "Sovietzka" follows Anat as she finally excepts her identity and comes to terms with the immigration trauma experienced by 3 generation of her family.
