Natalie Davis and Victoria Paterson are a couple of single, charismatic, sexy and fashionably on trend women pushing their late 30s when they decide to uproot their lives and move to LA to write a pilot tv show and have it produced by a prominent network. Natalie hailing from Australia and Victoria from Texas have no jobs, no romantic prospects or any show biz experience. Their move to LA is inspired by the idea that breaking into Hollywood can't be that hard, especially when you have a brilliant script, a sharp wit, a wicked sense of humor, and some serious determination. However, Tinseltown quickly exceeds their nonchalant expectations and credit card limits, and the two girls discover that making their pilot is no longer just about breaking into the industry, it's also a matter of their survival. Clueless to the way the business works, with a sassy slapstick, tongue and cheek approach, they quickly find their own way to navigate the awkward moments that come with the societal structure of the most infamous industry in the world, ultimately finding their own bit of tinsel in a town that doesn't always sparkle. LA Unpublished is a female driven narrative that uses wit and humor to portray the plight of the almost 40 year old woman in a town where as a female, ageism will have you under the knife at 25 and kicked to the curb by 30. For Natalie and Victoria it's not just about reinventing the wheel. It's about turning it in a different direction.
