Starry-eyed, best friends Jimmy and Adam have a brilliant idea to launch them out of the post-film school doldrums and onto stardom: launch an viral crowdfunding campaign for their earnest new musical, SCHOOL OF FISH. As their ambitious all-or-nothing funding goal approaches with little traction, a difficult question arises: was asking their friends and family to raise $200,000 for an un-produced musical about horny teenage fish in high school during WWII a tad fanciful?
