Thousands of years ago, 'Neck Slapping' used to be a form of making someone feel the weight of their stupidity when having done or said something. But over time, it became a way to wage war on those who had a different opinion from yours as a less lethal way to settle disputes. At first, it was about making your opponent fall, or to tear the skin from the back of the neck. Eventually, methods became increasingly more ruthless and technical. Days eventually became much less peaceful as a war broke out known as 'The Great Neckening', as people fought to demonstrate their new profound power, and to get their points across.
