Transatlantic (2023)

This miniseries is based on a true story about the Emergency Rescue Committee, a secret network of local spies in France that for 13 months helped thousands of refugees escaping Nazism. Varian Fry is a journalist who, using false documents, organized trips to help historical figures such as Hannah Arendt, Marcel Duchamp and Marc Chagall. This drama with an adventurous spirit recounts the vicissitudes and difficulties that occur while the rescue takes place.
