Marvelous Women (2021)

In Suzhou, the Ren family owned a great amount of k'o-ssu business. Ren Xuetang, the eldest son, refused to handle the business, which left all the work to his wife Shen Cuixi, who was the hostess of the family. She not only knew how to do business, but also embroidered well. Although Shen took the responsibility of the family, she was still not appreciated by Ren and they never had a child. Ren was obsessed with his true love Zeng Baoqin, whose family used to be wealthy but ended up jailed after her father was accused of a crime. When he learned that she was still alive, he decided to welcome her into the Ren family. But soon he disappeared while chasing bandits, which increased Shen's burden even more. She had to be strong and lead the family into a brighter future while dealing with Zeng, who was giving her trouble.
