Wie klingt Heimat (2023)

What does "home" sound like? Musician Felix Räuber sets out on a journey through his native Saxony to find many different answers from very different people and cultural backgrounds. He journeys to the native minority the Sorbs to listen to their sounds of Easter celebrations; visits ambient-techno duo "Forest Roots" to experience the sound of nature and listens to the songs of home of the counties' Russian and Vietnamese populations. Each episode tackles a specific question, e.g. "What does the past sound like?" or "What's the sound of religion?". In finding very personal answers, Felix Räuber paints a varied and emotional image of his home region.
