Beauty 7 (2001)

Akari Machida, a frumpy country bumpkin, finds that her old boyfriend, who left their hometown to come to Tokyo, has another girl. She stumbles upon a beauty salon called L'espoir, where she is turned beautiful by the staff. In gratitude, she stays at the salon as an apprentice. Sakura Izumi, their unofficial leader, despises Misuzu Minami, who operates a rival salon which uses high-tech equipment.
