Synopsis When former child actress ROBIN JAMES sets out to reinvent her career along side her childhood friend, CHERYL DEAN, she could have never imagined what lay ahead for the two. Robin quickly realizes the music industry is a cut-throat business and for two up and coming female artist the path can be treacherous, but when the two friends sign a deal MARK KING, of King Entertainment and ERIKA SIMMS, of Soul Swing Entertainment they embark on a journey that will change them forever. KASHI JUNG wants to live the American Dream and for her to do that she has to leave everything she loves behind, including her young son, and venture to the city of angels to pursue her dreams. The funny thing about dreams is they sometimes turn into nightmares; Kashi is forced to face her fears and her demons as she fights to keep her dream alive. RAI WILLIAMS and BOBBI FIGGS are an unlikely duo in the city of angels. The cop and the gangsta both chasing the same dream and while lines may become blurred for these two unlikely friends they are both determined to make it in an industry dominated by men. ENVY is a contemporary urban drama set in Los Angeles, CA and chronicles the lives of the many members of ENVY. Driven by social media and the desire for fame and fortune the members of Envy will do whatever it takes to make it in the music industry which will test their friendships, loyalties, money and love.
