In December 1984, Willem Ruis' big wish comes true: he gets to present an electronic spectacle live from a huge circus tent that is set up in a different place in the Netherlands every week. Candidates see their heart's desire fulfilled and compete among themselves for various prizes. The games sometimes get completely out of hand, to the delight of participants and audience alike. An exciting part is the final game 'The Stairs': the finalists have to complete five difficult tasks in ten minutes, including the nerve-wracking game with the ring spiral.
