The Cut (2020)

The Cut is an original singer-songwriting and recording competition series where emerging producers and singer/songwriters, who have never met before, are matched up in the Red Bull Music Studios to create a brand new song. At the end of each series, Red Bull awards a publishing deal and studio time to the winning pair. It's not about cover-versions. It's not just about the voice. The Cut is a singer-songwriter competition that takes us deep into the recording process. Allowing viewers an access all areas pass to the Red Bull Music Studios where they gain a fascinating insight into the creative process of writing, producing and recording of a brand new song.
