The continent of Africa seems foreign to the outside world. A lifetime of media perception and poor storytelling has corrupted the view of Africa and African world-wide. However, through the power of social media, the rise of Afrobeats and the emergence of African athletes amongst the best in the world, that image is changing and the future for the continent is bright. That is where Africans In Sports comes in. We give a voice to African athletes plying their trade on some of the biggest stages in the world. They share their stories of culture, adversity and triumph that relate directly to the people from or living in Africa.
