Drømmen om Europa (2014)

Drømmen om Europa is dealing with the dramatic consequences of European border policies. In a world tormented by war and conflicts, Europe is trying to control and increasing number of refugees. In the film we meet two Norwegian police officers, Rolf and Karoline, on their assignment at Europe's most pressured borders. We also get to know the Italian human rights activist Sara. She has set forth to document the brutal reality among those trying to get over the tall border fences of Europe. The dramatic situation has an emotional impact on both sides of the border. The film also sets light on the ongoing political debate inside the EU. The migration issue is a hard test on the European cooperation.
