Neandertaler (2016)

The hunt for a brutal mass murderer, who has wiped out an entire family, takes a bizarre twist when the DNA-results indicate that one of the supposed killer's DNA is not human. Lena Taubner, the young police pathologist in charge, teams up with the paleontologist Adam Novak to solve the mystery. They are stunned to discover two real Neanderthals, Neo and badly injured Karr, who have escaped from the undercover laboratory of molecular biologist Dr. Albert Caspers. When they decide to take the Neanderthals under their wing - they are unwittingly facing an international conspiracy and they are plunged into a desperate race against time where not only their lives are at stake but that of the entire human race.
