If the condom broke during an intimate moment between "The Office" and the school Pryzbylewski worked at in Season 4 of "The Wire", it's undesired offspring would bear a striking resemblance to "The Department of...Ed". Instead of a typical show about teachers and students, this original web series looks at the outrageous, yet oddly endearing bonds between staff members at an inner city school in Brooklyn, New York. Two Ads, Ed Goodman, and Lucas Edwards, are teachers at Centennial High School. They are polar opposites, but realize they may be each other's medicine in order to survive the insane orders of Assistant Principal, Dr. Lucien Brevil. They are often expected to save the lives of many students, but what happens when they need someone to save their lives from time to time? Whether it's getting roasted by a colleague in the teacher's lounge, receiving a pep talk from the animated school secretary Ms. Jackson in the urine-soaked stairwells, or trying to survive parent conferences, it becomes apparent immediately that it's gonna take more than going home and watching "Dangerous Minds" to make it through this school year while maintaining a shred of sanity.
