Takki (2012)

Takki is a coming of age Saudi Hejazi drama series that tells a story of a group of friends trying to achieve their dreams. the center of the story is a young man name Malik who aspires to become a filmmaker in a country that has no cinema. as he begins working as a freelance videographer with the help of his friends, things gets complicated when finds out that he works with a female colleague name Bayan who happens to be his best-friend's fiancee. Takki started in February 2012 as a web series that premiered exclusively on YouTube. It became an instant hit not only because Saudis were and still are among the world's most avid online users, but also because it resonated with the younger population and the issues facing them.
