George Jessel's Here Come the Stars (1968)

"Here Come the Stars" was a syndicated series that aired from September 15, 1968, through March 9, 1969. George Jessel served as emcee for the program. Each Episode honored a famous celebrity at a testimonial dinner party with a dais of fellow celebrities "roasting" the honored guests with jokes. Similar to "The Friar's Roast" or "The Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts".
