Reiff für die Insel (2012)

After separating from her unfaithful boyfriend, a lawyer, Katharina Reiff moves with her daughter Nele from the big city to the island of Föhr to live with her mother Marianne, who runs a holiday guesthouse there. She wants to finish her distance learning law course there in peace (which she manages to do over the course of the series) and at the same time get her helper syndrome under control. However, this turns out to be almost impossible because, even in the context of her work as a lawyer, she constantly encounters people who need her help. She gets support from her old friend and former island police officer Thies Quedens.
